Lightning Protection and Grounding Systems for Office Building

HafenCity Hamburg GmbH is planning the construction of a wooden skeleton office building at "Am Dalmannkai". This building will be a zero-emission office with a total gross floor area of approximately 8,600 m². The goal is to achieve CO2 neutrality throughout the entire lifecycle of the building, including construction, operation, and deconstruction. This innovative project aims to serve as a regional flagship, demonstrating the feasibility of a climate-neutral office building that offers modern comfort and flexibility, and it seeks certification for the HafenCity Environmental Label Platinum Plus. Wood will be used both structurally and aesthetically, and extensive green facades and roofs will contribute to the microclimate and enhance urban quality. This tender is for construction services related to lightning protection and grounding systems. The tender documents include a specifications list with optional services clearly marked. Maintenance work is also considered an optional service, and the client reserves the right to decide whether to commission these services. The evaluation of the bid price will be based on the total bid amount, including options. Bidders will be offered a site visit during the bidding period starting from January 5, 2026.
