Germany – Architectural Services for Planning (Technical Equipment - ELT)

The municipality of Großenkneten plans to construct a new kindergarten on Ahlhorner Straße. A development plan is currently being prepared and can be viewed on the municipality's website. The new kindergarten will be designed to resemble the Evangelical Kindergarten built in 2020 in Ahlhorn, which is a single-story building made of solid construction. It will include two group rooms, a children's cafeteria, a nursery group, a movement room, and staff offices. The building will feature a zinc standing seam roof and a brick facade on the ground floor. Each group will have a kitchenette, and the planning will also include the kitchen for the cafeteria. The design will cover the furnishing of cloakrooms and sanitary areas. The movement room will have provisions for attaching play equipment. Initial designs are expected by June 2026, with construction starting in the first quarter of 2027. The total area for the building is approximately 763 m², with expansion options for up to two additional kindergarten groups. The site area is about 5,760 m², and the building will be equipped with a photovoltaic system and a heat pump for heating. The planning will also explore funding opportunities.
