Food Supply Contract for Rovaniemi

The contract involves the supply of various food products to the kitchens of the City of Rovaniemi and the Rovaniemi Education Consortium. The procurement is divided into several categories: - Dry goods and canned products - Frozen foods - Dairy products - Meat and meat products - Fish and fish products - Plant-based protein products. Suppliers can submit bids for one or more categories. The City of Rovaniemi and the Rovaniemi Education Consortium will adhere to national nutritional quality criteria for food services and the recommendations of the State Nutrition Council regarding the nutritional conditions of food products. Current locations and delivery schedules are detailed in Appendix 2 of the request for proposals, titled 'Locations and Delivery Frequency.' The number of locations, their addresses, product volumes, and delivery schedules may change during the contract period due to changes in the kitchen network, such as the closure of a kitchen or the opening of a new site, or if the nature of operations changes permanently or seasonally. The buyer will promptly notify of any changes. The buyer reserves the right to alter production methods or quantities during the contract period, and therefore does not commit to specific procurement volumes during the contract. The following product categories are excluded from this procurement and will be tendered separately: - Raw potatoes and root vegetables - Fresh vegetables and vegetable components - Bread and bakery products.
