Construction Contract for Wastewater Treatment Plant Modernization in Warsaw

This contract involves the modernization of the "Czajka" Wastewater Treatment Plant, focusing on sludge management. The project includes the construction of a new set of Fermentation Chambers along with necessary infrastructure and other technological works. Key components of the work include: 1) Building new Fermentation Chambers and a cogeneration unit, expanding biogas management facilities, and demolishing existing Fermentation Chambers as part of the Circular Economy initiative at the "Czajka" plant in Warsaw; 2) Establishing a substrate reception point for co-fermentation; 3) Reducing odor nuisances; 4) Optimizing the operation of the sludge treatment technology line, technological processes, and auxiliary systems in the wastewater section. Part of the work outlined in section 1 is planned to be funded under the priority program 8.6.2 "Co-financing projects under the European Funds for Infrastructure, Climate, Environment 2021-2027 (FEnIKS), Part 2) Renewable Energy Development," for which the contracting authority is seeking funding.
