Public Transportation Services for School Students in Kokemäki

The city of Kokemäki is seeking transportation services for students in early childhood and basic education, including special education, for the school years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027, covering the period from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2027. The school transportation will start and end at times determined by the city of Kokemäki each school year. Currently, there are approximately 160 students who require transportation. The procurement is divided into eighteen (18) segments, each representing a transportation route. Bids must be submitted for each segment as specified in the request for proposals. There is no limit on the number of routes that can be awarded to a single transportation provider. Since the exact number of students and routes will only be confirmed at the beginning of each school year when the schedules are finalized, the city of Kokemäki reserves the right to make changes to both the announced routes and schedules. It is important to note that the detailed route descriptions in attachments 1-17 may be subject to changes. If afternoon return routes are operated more than once, the number of students per route will decrease. The detailed route descriptions (attachments 1-17) indicate the start and end times of school days for each school. Transportation routes must be operated within these parameters. The service provider will handle the transportation as defined in the purchase traffic agreement and its attachments, including both regular routes and temporary changes due to schedule adjustments. Agreed schedules must be followed during operations.
