Fire Truck Purchase for Volunteer Fire Department

The contract involves the procurement of a brand new, medium-sized rescue and firefighting vehicle with a 4x4 chassis for the Volunteer Fire Department in Krzyżowa. The vehicle must meet the minimum specifications and equipment requirements outlined in Annex 1 of the specification document. A warranty period of at least 12 months is required for the delivered vehicle, with the possibility for suppliers to offer a longer warranty. The warranty begins on the date of acceptance and transfer of the vehicle, confirmed by signing a receipt protocol without remarks. Additionally, the vehicle will be covered by a minimum 24-month warranty against defects, with the same conditions for a longer warranty option. The warranty for the equipment (mobile equipment) delivered with the vehicle is also a minimum of 12 months. According to Article 101, paragraph 4 of the Public Procurement Law, if the documents describing the subject of the contract reference standards, technical assessments, approvals, specifications, and technical reference systems without the phrase 'or equivalent,' the contracting authority allows equivalent solutions to those described in any such standard or specification. Therefore, it should be assumed that every standard, technical assessment, approval, specification, and technical reference system mentioned in the contract description is accompanied by the phrase 'or equivalent.' According to Article 101, paragraph 5 of the Public Procurement Law, a contractor who refers to equivalent solutions must provide evidence that the proposed solutions meet the requirements specified in the contract description.
