Spain – Waste Containers – Supply of containers and recovery bins for the implementation of the selective collection service for organic waste, as well as the execution of an awareness campaign for citizens in the central area of the municipality of Chiclana de la Frontera, under the PRTR funded by the European Union - Next Generation EU Funds.

The contract aims to supply containers and recovery bins for the implementation of the selective collection service for organic waste, as well as to carry out an awareness campaign for training, dissemination, information, and sensitization of citizens in the central area of the municipality of Chiclana de la Frontera, in accordance with the Technical Specifications signed on May 16, 2025, by the Environmental Manager. The contract is divided into the following lots: Lot 1: Supply of domestic aerated bins, rolls of compostable bags, side-loading containers, and waste bins for large generators. Lot 2: Awareness campaign for training, dissemination, information, and sensitization of citizens. This action is included in the Support Plan for the implementation of Waste Regulations, under the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan funded by the European Union through the Next Generation EU funds, within the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, by virtue of the Resolution of December 20, 2022, from the General Directorate of Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change granting the subsidies called under the Order of December 3, 2021, from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Sustainable Development, which approves the regulatory bases for granting subsidies, in a competitive bidding process, for urgent support measures for projects aimed at the implementation and/or improvement of the separate collection of organic waste intended for specific biological treatment facilities, within the support plan for the implementation of waste regulations, under the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan (PRTR) – funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU, (line 1, subline 1.1), and its call is made in 2021.
