Landscaping and Maintenance Services for Wastewater Facilities in Königswinter

The City of Königswinter's wastewater management authority is seeking a contractor to perform landscaping maintenance services for various wastewater facilities and compensatory measures that were established 15-20 years ago. The maintenance work must comply with relevant DIN standards (DIN 18919) and the guidelines of the landscaping plans, which regulate the long-term maintenance processes for these compensatory measures. The tasks include maintaining bird protection hedges, pond areas, wet and dry herb meadows, gravel lawns, clearing pathways and fence lines, managing shrub areas, leaf removal, and rejuvenating overgrown shrub areas. Maintenance activities will involve mowing, hoeing, and pruning, among others. The maintenance sites can range in size from 15 square meters to 10,000 square meters. The wastewater management authority expects proper and flawless execution of the maintenance work after the initial briefing on the respective sites, as most of the services are mandatory compensatory measures subject to inspection by the Lower Nature Conservation Authority of the Rhein-Sieg District, and they are part of compliance with the permit requirements.
