Spain – Maintenance and Repair Services for Precision Equipment

The Internal Dosimetry Service, part of the Radiation Dosimetry Unit in the Department of Environment, is responsible for measuring internal radiation for radiological protection purposes. These measurements are conducted both directly (in the CRC Laboratory) and indirectly (in the bioelimination laboratory). To ensure the quality and continuity of these activities, the service relies on various equipment that must be kept in optimal working condition, both inside and outside the Center. In compliance with the guidelines from the Nuclear Safety Council, it is essential to contract a specialized maintenance service to ensure the proper operation, calibration, and verification of the equipment. The service can be provided by companies with accredited technical capacity and experience in maintaining such equipment.
