Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Installation in Bern

The Swiss Federal Roads Office (ASTRA) is implementing its Energy Strategy 2050, which includes the gradual transition to electric mobility for heavy vehicles within the region. This requires an expansion of the charging infrastructure at the Wankdorf workshop, to be carried out in phases, enabling the new electric heavy vehicles to be charged and operated. This tender pertains to the first phase and includes the following main services: - Supply of charging infrastructure for eight charging points, including necessary accessories, as well as two mobile charging stations and connection systems for parking spaces, suspended from the ceiling (e.g., cable reels, pulleys, or similar). The charging cables must not obstruct vehicle passage. - Supply and configuration of the load management system, including necessary accessories. - Supply and installation of a battery storage system (minimum 800 kWh) in a container. - Integration of load management into the energy concept. - Collaboration in project coordination with the executing electrical planner and installer. - Remote access to the charging stations. - Commissioning of the charging infrastructure, battery storage, and load management system. - Performing maintenance and service work. - Providing emergency service (online and on-site). - Preparation of documentation and conducting training in German.
