    Brief

The Morteni Municipality is seeking suppliers for a Smart Digital City platform and necessary hardware as part of the "Digital Administration in Morteni, Dâmbovița County" project. This initiative aims to leverage the benefits of digitalization for citizens, businesses, research organizations, and public authorities by investing in the development of relevant IT infrastructure, services, and equipment. The project will implement an integrated Smart Digital City platform that facilitates digital interaction between citizens and the municipality, digitizes internal municipal activities, and integrates IoT and AI technologies. A Digital City emphasizes digital connectivity and access as fundamental rights for all residents, ensuring equitable access to digital resources. The main goal is to bridge the digital divide, enabling all residents to fully participate in the digital economy and access essential online services. A Smart City incorporates information and communication technology (ICT) to enhance the quality, performance, and interactivity of urban services by utilizing data collected from strategically placed IoT devices and sensors. Key objectives include improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, enhancing sustainability efforts, and ultimately improving residents' quality of life. The project will procure an interoperable, scalable, transparent, extensible, and adaptable software platform that will accelerate the digitalization of the municipality and allow for future expansion with additional services or institutions. This platform will leverage cloud technology, providing the municipality with a robust and scalable infrastructure capable of adapting to rapid changes in the IT industry and easily integrating new functionalities developed in the future.
