Cryogenic Supply System for Hydrogen Testing

The Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V. (DLR) is seeking suppliers to develop a cryogenic supply system for liquid hydrogen and liquid nitrogen at the H2 Container Test Center. Currently, the center has four test positions that only accommodate tests with gaseous hydrogen. This project involves extending one of these positions to support liquid hydrogen testing and later liquid nitrogen. The scope includes constructing a cryogenic supply system with two new panels, including a connection panel for the new infrastructure, and a cryogenic exhaust system for handling liquid hydrogen and process gases such as gaseous hydrogen, nitrogen, and helium. The DLR will provide necessary interfaces, including gaseous helium storage, cryogenic tanks for liquid hydrogen and nitrogen, and a flare stack for the exhaust system. This opportunity is part of a broader initiative to enhance hydrogen testing capabilities.
