Wigan Council Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Contract

Wigan Council seeks a long-term partner to design, install, operate, and maintain Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) across council-owned car parks throughout the borough. This is a full-service concession contract where the selected provider will handle all aspects including equipment supply, installation, ongoing maintenance, and customer support. The project aims to expand public charging point availability and diversity to serve residents, businesses, and visitors across different vehicle types and charging needs. The contract term is 13 years with a potential 2-year extension option. A mix of charging device types will be required to accommodate varying charging speeds and user requirements.
