Cormac is seeking a qualified supplier to design, manufacture, and install a modular toilet block at Crooklets in Bude under the Future Coast programme. The successful tenderer will work alongside Cormac designers to deliver a solution within the client's budget cap, with foundation and utility services (electric, water, sewer) provided by Cormac. Key responsibilities include coordinating with Cormac on design specifications, managing manufacturing and delivery logistics, obtaining Local Building Control approval, and engaging with local stakeholders through informal consultations on functionality and aesthetics. The project must be completed by the March 2027 funding deadline. The site is located in an existing overflow carpark with level access for unloading. Tenderers should note that comprehensive surveys (topographical, ground investigation, NRSWA enquiries) are underway, relevant drawings and specifications are provided, and the contract will be managed under NEC3 terms. Evaluation will be based 80% on commercial factors and 20% on quality, with particular emphasis on communication, programme management, and stakeholder relations given the political sensitivities surrounding public toilet provision.
