Medical Aid Insurance Service Provider for British High Commission Maputo

The British High Commission (BHC) Maputo seeks a Medical Aid Insurance Service Provider to deliver comprehensive healthcare services for approximately 199 beneficiaries, including locally engaged staff and their eligible dependants. Key Services Required: - Inpatient and outpatient medical coverage - Network access to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, laboratories and specialist providers throughout Mozambique - Overseas treatment arrangements for unavailable specialist care - Emergency medical evacuation and assistance services - Full claims administration, reimbursement processing and pre-authorisation services - Customer support, account management and member communication - Contract performance reporting and management information systems Contract Terms: The contract will run for an initial 36-month period with an optional 12-month extension. The successful provider will operate on a managed medical aid basis, with full responsibility for scheme administration, healthcare network management, claims processing, beneficiary support and continuous healthcare access throughout the contract term. Suppliers should have established healthcare provider networks in Mozambique, experience managing medical aid schemes, and proven capability in claims administration and member services.
