    Brief

Knowsley Council is conducting a soft market test for an interim falls lifting service to bridge operations until a comprehensive technology-enabled care contract launches in May 2028. The service includes falls lifting integrated with a council-commissioned call centre using enabling technology. Knowsley Council is reviewing and modernizing its entire technology-enabled care offering. An overarching contract covering telecare response, equipment purchase, and installation will be tendered in May 2028. To manage operations during this transition, the Council seeks an interim provider for the falls lifting service. Interested providers must register on www.The-Chest.org.uk, reference DN819978, download the procurement documents, and submit the completed questionnaire via The-Chest portal by 12 noon on 3rd July 2026.
