Multi-Use Games Area and Playing Field Refurbishment at Weston Road, Portland, Dorset

This project involves comprehensive refurbishment of a former MUGA (Multi-Use Games Area) at Weston Road Playing Field in Portland, Dorset. The works include removal and disposal of approximately 795 square meters of existing synthetic grass carpet, followed by ground preparation and reinstatement. The new facility will feature approximately 500 square meters of synthetic sports pitch grass with football markings, a 20m x 25m MUGA enclosed by a 3-meter-high fence with recessed football goal ends and 2 gates, and approximately 290 square meters of single-colour wetpour surfacing. Additional elements include 1.2-meter bowtip fencing (approximately 49 linear meters) with 2 gates, recreational equipment comprising a large multi-play ship unit, a group rope pendulum swing, and a 4-person multi see-saw (all Robinia wooden equipment), 4 recycled composite park benches, 2 litter bins, and 1 inclusive picnic table. This is a one-off refurbishment project suitable for contractors experienced in sports facility installation and landscaping.
