Clean Air Zone Technical Service and Delivery Partner

The Department for Transport (DFT) is seeking a Technical Service and Delivery Partner (TDSP) to manage the ongoing delivery and orderly decommissioning of Clean Air Zones (CAZs) across the UK. The role involves providing continued technical support until Local Authorities achieve CAZ compliance and successfully exit the scheme. By the contract start date in July 2027, two Local Authorities will have already transitioned out, with the remaining participants expected to complete their exit by early 2031. The successful supplier will need to manage the technical platform, facilitate smooth transitions for departing Local Authorities, and ensure continuity of NO2 programme objectives throughout the decommissioning process. This is a transitional contract designed to wind down CAZ operations in an orderly manner over approximately 4 years.
