Electrical Services Framework Agreement 2026-2030

Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA), acting through Merseytravel, is seeking a single electrical services supplier to support the safe operation and modernisation of its transport infrastructure and buildings across the region. This Framework Agreement will cover two distinct service areas: (1) Lot 1 - Electrical Maintenance, Testing and Minor Works: Planned preventative maintenance, statutory inspections, testing and certification, reactive maintenance, emergency call-out services, fault diagnosis and minor electrical works across power distribution systems, lighting, control panels, standby power systems and building services infrastructure. (2) Lot 2 - Electrical Capital Works, Asset Renewals and Infrastructure Upgrades: Design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and handover of major electrical replacement projects, lifecycle renewals and infrastructure upgrades including switchgear, transformers, substations, power distribution networks, cabling systems and control systems. The successful supplier will provide comprehensive electrical services across Merseytravel's operational estate including stations, terminals, depots, tunnels, park-and-ride facilities and public realm assets. All work must comply with relevant statutory requirements, British Standards and industry codes of practice. The Framework aims to deliver asset stewardship, operational resilience, sustainability and value for money whilst ensuring continued safe operation, reliability and regulatory compliance of critical infrastructure.
