National Data Dashboard for Children's Social Care Placements

This is a three-year contract to operate, enhance, and scale a data dashboard that helps local authorities, Regional Care Cooperatives, the Department for Education (DfE), and Ofsted manage and analyze children's social care placements. The platform is already live and used by approximately 62 local authorities. The contract is valued at up to £2,865,473 (inclusive of irrecoverable VAT). Key deliverables include: operating and maintaining the secure, scalable software-as-a-service platform; onboarding all remaining local authorities in England; expanding data collection capabilities; building analytical dashboards tailored for different users; providing APIs and data access for DfE and Ofsted; preparing for integration with complementary assessment tools (CANS, BERRI, CareCubed); developing forecasting and scenario modeling features; and managing the transition of intellectual property rights to DfE while ensuring long-term platform sustainability.
