European Eel Stocking and Rearing Contract

This contract involves the supply, rearing, and stocking of live European eel (Anguilla anguilla L.) fry sourced from the 2025/2026 fishing season. The contract is divided into 13 tasks, each specifying the quantity of eels to be delivered to various locations. The contractor is responsible for importing a sufficient number of glass eels from EU countries to ensure that, after accounting for transport, acclimatization, quarantine, and rearing losses, the following quantities can be delivered: 1) Task 1 - Szczecin Lagoon – 1,200,000 eels; 2) Task 2 - Odra River – 320,000 eels; 3) Task 3 - Warta River – 240,000 eels; 4) Task 4 - Noteć River – 100,000 eels; 5) Task 5 - Drawieński Park Lakes – 60,000 eels; 6) Task 6 - Coastal Lakes of the Odra Basin – 280,000 eels; 7) Task 7 - Vistula Lagoon – 1,000,000 eels; 8) Task 8 - Vistula River – 700,000 eels; 9) Task 9 - Narew River – 200,000 eels; 10) Task 10 - Bug River – 400,000 eels; 11) Task 11 - Biebrza River – 100,000 eels; 12) Task 12 - Masurian Lakes – 1,200,000 eels; 13) Task 13 - Coastal Lakes of the Vistula Basin – 700,000 eels. The contractor must also ensure the rearing of fry in aquaculture facilities using a recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) with heated water, including feeding, quarantine, and rearing processes. The contractor will bear the risk of transport and rearing losses.
