Passenger Transport Services for CIEMAT in Almería

The Almería Solar Platform (PSA-CIEMAT) is located in the municipality of Tabernas, in the Almería desert, approximately 40 km from the capital and 7 km from the nearest town. Most of the staff at the center reside in Almería city and the municipality of Aguadulce. Additionally, the research staff at this CIEMAT territorial center participates in numerous national and international research programs, which require visits and stays by external scientific personnel and researchers at their facilities. Due to its geographical location, a passenger transport service is necessary to connect PSA-CIEMAT staff residing in Almería and Aguadulce, CIEMAT-Madrid staff, visiting scientists, and users of the facilities under the ICTS access program.
