Romania – Aerial Electric Line Maintenance Services

This contract involves the awarding of a framework agreement for maintenance services of the safety corridors for 110 kV aerial electric lines. The work is divided into several lots based on different branches: Lot 1 - Cluj Napoca Branch, Lot 2 - Oradea Branch, Lot 3 - Baia Mare Branch, Lot 4 - Satu Mare Branch, Lot 5 - Bistrita Branch, Lot 6 - Zalau Branch, Lot 7 - Alba Branch, Lot 8 - Brasov Branch, Lot 9 - Covasna Branch, Lot 10 - Harghita Branch, Lot 11 - Mures Branch, Lot 12 - Sibiu Branch. These maintenance services are essential due to identified deficiencies in safety corridor compliance during inspections, which can lead to incidents and interruptions in electricity distribution. Adverse weather conditions (strong winds, blizzards, ice, wet snow) can damage electrical equipment (poles, conductors, insulation) due to falling trees or branches, resulting in power outages until repairs are made. To ensure the proper functioning of aerial electric lines that cross urban and rural areas, periodic maintenance services for safety corridors are necessary. Maintaining these safety corridors according to existing regulations is crucial for ensuring continuous electricity supply to consumers and meeting performance indicators set by current legislation. To prevent and reduce accidental events caused by vegetation (such as falling trees or branches), avoid vegetation fires or other property damage, and prevent human accidents, we propose the procurement of maintenance services for the safety corridors of 110 kV aerial electric lines in the Northern and Southern Transylvania regions. Suppliers can request clarifications until 20 days before the deadline for submitting offers. The contracting entity will respond to all clarification requests clearly and completely by the 13th day before the submission deadline as stated in the participation announcement. The contracting entity will only respond to clarification requests made by economic operators by the established deadline.
