Germany – Construction Works for Waterways – Dredging Works for the Maintenance of Jade 01/2026 to 08/2026

The construction services to be performed involve the removal of individual shallow areas, with a maximum depth of 21.0 meters in the Jade waterway from Km 6.0 to 55.0. The execution period is from January 30, 2026, to August 31, 2026. For the hopper dredger with a calibrated hold volume of less than or equal to 1200 cubic meters, two campaigns with a total hourly performance of 105 hours are planned. For the hopper dredger with a calibrated hold volume greater than 3500 to 6001 cubic meters, three campaigns with a total hourly performance of 1600 hours are planned. For the water injection device, four campaigns with a total hourly performance of 700 hours are planned. The material to be dredged consists of material driven into the fairway (mobile soils). The bulk density of the driven material is predominantly 'loose'. The composition of the driven soils in the various dredging sections may vary throughout the year. Based on soil investigations, the driven areas in the dredging focal points range from 7.5 to 10.5 and from km 39.0 to 43.0 in homogeneous areas of gravel-clay or silt, with a gravel content of less than or equal to 30 percent; fine grain content equal to or greater than 15 percent. Although no shell or shell fragments were found in the soil samples, a shell content of less than or equal to 5% is to be expected.
