Construction Works for MehrSpur Zürich – Winterthur Project

The MehrSpur Zürich – Winterthur project involves the construction of a new double-track railway line through the Brüttenertunnel and the expansion of the Dietlikon, Bassersdorf, Wallisellen, and Winterthur Töss stations. This project aims to alleviate the current bottleneck in the railway network between Zürich and Winterthur and to enhance service offerings. The SBB is seeking a contractor for each of these sections to provide the following construction services: specialized deep construction, structural engineering, demolition, utility construction, track construction under railway operations, and road construction. The tender will follow the standard position catalog (NPK). The execution planning and construction management will be handled by the already commissioned planning teams. The construction work will require intensive coordination with the railway technology works being carried out by SBB (track, overhead line, safety systems, cable systems, technical installations, etc.). Experience in managing the necessary time windows for railway technology works is essential. The project will involve significant reconstruction work within the existing track area.
