    Brief

The Zweckverband Gymnasien Stadt und Landkreis Bamberg, represented by the City of Bamberg, plans to replace the Dientzenhofer Gymnasium, including the outdoor facilities. The existing school, which has three sports halls and a caretaker's apartment, will be demolished in phases while maintaining ongoing school operations. The goal is to carry out the demolition and reconstruction in phases without significantly relocating classes (e.g., to containers). The Dientzenhofer Gymnasium is a STEM school designed for 1,500 students, focusing on mathematics, natural sciences, and technology. It also fulfills roles as an inclusive school, sports school, and seminar school for training new educators. To accommodate the growing number of students in a six-stream gymnasium with 54 classrooms, a building with a usable area ranging from 8,197 m² to a maximum of 9,766 m² is required. The three-field sports hall is estimated to have a usable area of 1,728 m². Additional areas to be included in the planning are specialized classrooms, a library, break rooms, staff rooms (for education and administration), kitchen and dining areas, all-day care areas, caretaker's residence, and ancillary rooms. The educational concept for the new Dientzenhofer Gymnasium continues the school's previous pedagogical work, promoting cooperative and individual learning through a cluster formation or learning house concept. The Dientzenhofer Gymnasium will be supplied with district heating from the City of Bamberg. Additionally, there is a mixed water system that channels rainwater and wastewater into a single sewer. The site has several water and electricity supply connections, ensuring excellent technical infrastructure for the construction project. For more detailed information on the technical infrastructure, including gas, water, wastewater, and district heating supply, please refer to the attached tender documents. Further information can be found in the tender documents. The project milestones are as follows: - Start of services: August 2025 // - Start of construction: Mid-2027 // - Completion: Mid-2032 // The total estimated cost of the project (KG 200-700) is €83.9 million gross, broken down as follows: - KG 200: €40,000 // - KG 300: €44,458,059 // - KG 400: €14,819,353 // - KG 500: €4,918,958 // - KG 600: €2,900,000 // - KG 700: €16,784,092 // This tender aims to commission the following services: Thermal building physics services, including building acoustics, according to Annex 1.2 HOAI. The services will be commissioned in stages. Initially, in the first commissioning stage, performance phases 1-2 according to § 53 HOAI will be commissioned. Performance phases 3-9 will be called off in stages. There is no legal entitlement to overall commissioning.
