Insurance Services Framework Agreement

The municipality of As is seeking to establish a framework agreement with one contractor per lot for its insurance portfolio. This is in accordance with Article 2,35° of the basic law of June 17, 2016, where the municipality acts as a purchasing center with additional purchasing activities until the closure of the framework agreement, as described in Article 2,6° of the same law. This includes both the municipality's own needs and those of the OCMW As. The current assignment is for services (intellectual services) and falls under category 06A of Annex 2 of the law of June 17, 2016, which involves the renewal and competitive tendering of the insurance portfolio and related services. The contracting authorities are assisted in this assignment by VOF CARU, located at Torhoutsesteenweg 2A/502, 8400 Oostende, represented by Mr. Rudi Claeys. The insurance services contract is divided into different lots and sections, which will be further detailed in the technical dossier of the specifications. This division aims to achieve the most economically advantageous solution, which may involve continuing current insurances or facilitating management per lot, aligning with the administrative task distribution of its management. The contracting authority reserves the right to award the public contract in whole or in part (including certain lots and sections) without any right to compensation for the bidders. Bidders must submit a complete bid for a single lot to ensure uniform communication and processing of the files and facilitate management. The different sections within the lots are represented in separate policies for participants in the combined assignment with itemized billing.
