Flood Protection Works in Griesbeckerzell

The city of Aichach is planning to construct two flood retention basins above Griesbeckerzell due to the current lack of flood safety during heavy rainfall. This contract involves the construction of the main basin (Flood Retention Basin No. 2), referred to as HRB2. Griesbeckerzell is located approximately 4.5 km west of the district town of Aichach in a valley with rising slopes on the sides. The work for the construction of Flood Retention Basin No. 2 is situated at the western exit of Griesbeckerzell. The construction will take place outside the public road network, in existing meadows and fields, and partially within an existing basin.
