Development of Commercial Building Areas in Kirchhain

The KISEG, a 100% subsidiary of the city of Kirchhain, is seeking engineering services to develop approximately 26.4 hectares of commercial land in the Rußweg II area, located in the southeastern part of the city. This development aims to meet both existing and anticipated demand for commercial building sites. The project includes the construction of sewage and stormwater drainage systems, as well as transportation facilities. The necessary engineering services will be procured through a Europe-wide tender process, as required by procurement law. The planning process has been successfully completed, and the land reorganization has been commissioned with the relevant land management office. Currently, the area is used exclusively for agricultural purposes, with no significant existing structures except for overhead high-voltage power lines and an underground gas pipeline. The Alsfelder Straße serves as an exit from the town and connects to the B 454 and B 62, which in turn connect to the A 49 federal highway. The area is well connected to the regional transport network, although classified roads are not directly within the scope of the development plan.
