Construction of New Railway Line over Vestfyn

The Danish Road Directorate is undertaking the project "92900 New Railway Line over Vestfyn" to construct a new approximately 35 km long double-track electrified railway capable of speeds up to 250 km/h between Odense Vest and Kauslunde, including 33 structures. This project is part of the Infrastructure Plan 2035, initiated under the "Act on the Construction of a New Railway over Vestfyn" (Law No. 1424 of December 17, 2019). The project involves all construction work necessary to establish approximately 64 km of track, including the installation of high-speed switches, temporary switches, drainage systems, and cable trays. Additionally, the contractor will be responsible for maintaining the railway and its surroundings until the new line is handed over to Banedanmark. The estimated contract value is 310 million DKK, which includes a performance incentive pool that the contractor can earn from, with specific requirements outlined in the contract agreement.
