Landscaping and Outdoor Works for School Expansion

This project involves landscaping and outdoor works for the new extension building of the Philipp Weiß Primary School in Fürstenfeldbruck. The building measures approximately 76 x 16 meters and has three floors. The top roof features a photovoltaic system with extensive green roofing. The second-floor roof garden will include play areas and intensive planting on an area of about 820 m2, featuring terraces, play areas, safety surfaces, and hybrid grass. Equipment will include play structures, sunshades, seating, a raised garden bed, and elevated planting rings with shrubs. An automated irrigation system will be integrated for the vegetation areas. The ground floor will connect to public transport areas and the schoolyard, with asphalt access renewal, safety bollards, grass-paved parking spaces, walkways, and permeable paving for the entrance area. Surface drainage will include a soakaway, trench, and drainage channels. A public drinking fountain will be installed at the festival square, along with de-sealing works. The school grounds will be expanded with permeable concrete paving and planted fences along the west and north boundaries. Three small play structures and an outdoor corridor with a concrete seating edge will be added along one side of the new building. Additionally, the existing schoolyard will undergo a reduction of the running track and cable works, followed by restoration of affected surfaces. Two bike racks and scooter stands will be constructed on the school grounds. Green areas will include meadows, lawns, perennial and ground cover areas, and hedge plantings, with 11 trees to be planted. Key services include: outdoor facilities at the ground level with areas at the festival square, drinking fountain, de-sealing works, asphalt access of approximately 230 m2, concrete paving with soakage joints of about 280 m2, green (walkable/drivable) concrete paving of approximately 300 m2, walkable/drivable concrete slabs of about 270 m2, soakaway of about 25 m3, trench of about 48 m3, drainage channels of about 100 m, 34 bike racks, 190 scooter stands, fence of about 15 linear meters, concrete seating edge of about 76 linear meters, meadow area (slight slope) of about 210 m2, lawn areas of about 280 m2, ground cover planting areas of about 185 m2, hedge planting of about 15 linear meters, and 11 new tree plantings. Outdoor facilities for the roof terrace/garden with play areas on the second floor will include an irrigation system, play equipment, and safety surfaces of approximately 100 m2, pathways of about 170 m2, concrete slab areas of about 190 m2, and planting areas for ground cover/grasses/perennials of 60 m2, with lawn and hybrid grass areas of about 300 m2.
