Engineering Services for Energy Renovation in Diez

The Verbandsgemeinde Diez is seeking planning and construction supervision services for the comprehensive energy renovation of the Halle am Wirt in Diez. The planning is at an advanced stage, and due to additional required electrical engineering services and associated cost increases, the electrical technical equipment services are being re-tendered from phases 5 to 9 according to § 55 HOAI. The hall, built in 1925, is used for sports, cultural events, community activities, and promoting social integration and cohesion. A key aspect of the renovation is to reduce the building's energy demand by approximately 86%. The remaining energy needs are to be met as much as possible with renewable energy sources. A funding application for the energy renovation has already been submitted and approved. The funding notice, along with other documents, is included in the tender documents. The funding notice sets a binding project goal of a comprehensive energy renovation with an end energy savings of about 86%. The results achieved so far in the planning are part of the tender documents.
