Footpath Upgrade Project at Abbey View East, Belmont

Belmont Rural Parish Council is inviting tenders for the upgrade and rehabilitation of the footpath around Abbey View East in Belmont, HR2, including connecting paths to Jubilee Field and Dorchester Way. The existing footpath experiences significant surface water runoff causing flooding in certain areas. An approved design by Herefordshire Council has been provided to address these drainage and flooding issues. The project requires a concrete surface suitable for pedestrian and light vehicular traffic, using a PAV1 concrete mix or equivalent. Successful tenders must include: approximate quantities of all materials (concrete, reinforcement, etc.) to enable fair comparison; details of site management including temporary fencing and secure material storage; and consideration of pedestrian safety throughout the works. A pre-tender site visit can be arranged. Interested suppliers should review the attached design documents and photographs before submitting their tender.
