Electronic Passenger Screen Procurement

Transport for West Midlands (TfWM), part of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA), is seeking suppliers for the procurement of electronic passenger information screens. These screens provide Real Time Passenger Information (RTPI) to users of the integrated public transport system in the West Midlands region. Currently, there are approximately 1,455 displays installed at bus stops, interchanges, and other key locations. Many of these displays are outdated, with 1,197 being around 10 years old and considered at the end of their operational life. The WMCA has secured funding to replace about 37 of these displays. Suppliers interested in this opportunity should be prepared to provide modern TFT or LED display solutions that meet the needs of the public transport system.
