Street Lighting Maintenance and Holiday Decoration Services in Gdynia (2025-2029)

The contract involves providing holiday decorations for trees, streets, and squares in Gdynia from 2025 to 2029, with options to submit bids for different parts of the contract: 1) PART 1 – includes decorations powered by the city’s lighting network at locations such as Grunwaldzki Square, the city fountain at Kościuszko Square, Kaszubski Square, St. Maximilian Hill, and Victory Avenue; 2) PART 2 – includes decorations powered by the Energy Lighting network at locations such as Constitution Square (roundabout), the Soldiers of the Cursed Soldiers Junction, and Kościuszko Square. Detailed descriptions of each part of the contract can be found in Chapter 4, Section 2 of the SWZ. The scope of the contract includes: providing new decorations (in part 2), repairing decorations (in part 1), disposing of specified decorations (in part 1), as well as installation, maintenance, dismantling, and storage of holiday decorations, in accordance with the Description of the Subject of the Order (OPZ), which is Annex 1A to the SWZ. Detailed scope, conditions of execution, and contractor obligations for PART 1 and PART 2 are included in the annexes to the SWZ: 1) Annex 1A to the SWZ – Description of the Subject of the Order (OPZ) – for Part 1, 2; 2) Annex A to the SWZ – Decorations (Photographs) – Part 1; 3) Annex B to the SWZ – Decorations (Photographs) – Part 2; 4) Annex C to the SWZ – Decorations (Photographs) – new for Part 2; 5) Annex D to the SWZ – Decorations (Photographs) – for disposal for Part 1; 6) Annex 10 to the SWZ – Draft Contract Provisions. The contractor will ensure: – appropriate transportation of decorations, – continuous operation of decorations and maintenance with a 24-hour contact phone capable of repairing reported failures within 48 hours of notification, – at their own cost, storage for the stored decoration elements. The contractor will bear the costs arising from the execution of the contract, particularly the costs of disposing of specified decorations, occupying the road lane, restoring the area to its original state, and obtaining permission to work on the lighting networks from the operator. The contractor will provide a 24-month warranty and guarantee for the new holiday decorations delivered or for the repairs made to the decorations.
