Supply of Metro Trains for Sofia

This public procurement contract is for the delivery of eight metro trains, with an option to supply an additional eight trains, for the first, second, and fourth lines of the Sofia metro. The trains must be 81 meters long (±3 meters), equipped with asynchronous motors and regenerative braking capabilities. Power supply should be provided through a bottom contact system with current collectors located under a third rail, using a voltage of 750 V DC. The offered trains must be compatible and operational with the existing Automatic Train Control (ATC) systems and other track equipment installed on the first, second, and fourth metro lines. The trains should operate without the need for additional stationary equipment installation on these lines and at dispatching points. The contract also includes the commissioning of the delivered metro trains.
