Construction of Rietlanden III Sports Complex

This contract involves the design and construction of the Rietlanden III Sports Complex. The existing Rietlanden II sports complex will be expanded to include 8 new halls along with various supporting facilities. The project will require an integrated approach to ensure all components function together effectively. A construction team will follow a two-step process: first, the client and contractor will collaborate during the design phase to create a well-supported design, manage risks, and establish a realistic budget (Step 1). Then, they will proceed to the construction phase in a controlled manner (Step 2). This collaborative effort allows for optimal use of the contractor's knowledge and expertise while keeping the client fully engaged in the design process. There will be opportunities to discuss solutions and ideas together, with transparency regarding budget management and risk control. The budget for construction costs is set at €20,000,000, with an additional €661,000 allocated for fixed furnishings.
