Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Services for Rail Vehicles

BKV Rail Vehicle Repair Ltd. is seeking suppliers for a framework contract to repair the floor coverings of various rail vehicles. The framework contract specifies that orders will be placed for rail vehicles, and the work phases will be the same for each order. The contracting authority has set a limit of 20 rail vehicles, with a commitment to call off for 18 of them. A rail vehicle is defined as any vehicle that operates on railway tracks, including both powered and unpowered vehicles. The work will take place at designated depots in Budapest, and each vehicle will require the following tasks to be completed (1 vehicle = 50 m2): - Removal of floor covering (Gerflor) and plywood floor panels (10mm plywood glued to steel). - Widening of drainage holes (16+8 total, according to drawing 3.CTHP.M21.7.3122) in the door tracks, as well as installation, cleaning, and preparation of drainage corner brackets. - Cleaning and sanding of the metal floor panel surface according to the manufacturer's specifications. - Preparation of the repaired floor steel surface for primer painting using a rust converter. - Cleaning and treatment of the surface of the side wall stiffeners with a rust converter. - Cleaning and coating of the door side wall stiffeners (as marked in drawing 3.CTHP.M21.7.3122) up to 300mm +/- 5mm from the floor level with FL-03K primer or an approved substitute. - Inspection of the surface at the connections of side walls and frame elements at points indicated in drawing 3.CTHP.M21.7.3133, and repair of damaged areas with TEROSON MS 939 adhesive-sealant. - Application of a sealing layer to ensure a smooth transition at the junctions of side walls and stiffeners according to drawing 3.CTHP.M21.7.3133 (locations and applicable sealant). - Treatment of widened drainage openings with FL-03K primer according to instruction TGLiZp-09. - Treatment of the floor steel surface with primer paint. - Preparation of the primed floor steel surface for gluing, applying primer material as per the manufacturer's specifications. - Cutting of plywood panels to size according to the manufacturer's specifications and securing them with the prescribed adhesive. - Filling gaps and joints between plywood panels with the manufacturer's specified filler material. - Sanding of plywood panels, completing BR-5 development – sealing of plywood panels. - Installation of new Gerflor Traveller floor covering, welding of joints, and sealing of thresholds for sliding and passage doors. All work must comply with relevant regulations, standards, and professional practice rules. Completion deadline: 7 working days per vehicle from the delivery of call-offs.
