Wastewater Sludge Transportation Services in Hungary

This contract involves the transportation of municipal wastewater sludge in containers from the Debrecen Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at Vértesi u. 1-3, to the composting facility at Vértesi u. 9/b in Debrecen. The service is required every day of the year, 24 hours a day. The transportation will utilize 6.5m3 containers, with an estimated annual quantity of approximately 20,700 tons, requiring about 5,000 trips per year. There is an option for an additional 30% in quantity. The Debrecen Waterworks uses custom, non-standard 6.5m3 containers in their operations. The vehicle specifications for this transportation task have been determined to ensure that it can carry the filled container not only based on weight (container plus sludge) but also considering its physical dimensions. Therefore, the specified parameters are necessary. For vehicles used for such tasks, these characteristics are not considered special. The specifications for the vehicle include: - Minimum total weight of 18,000 kg - Minimum payload capacity of 8,000 kg - Minimum engine power of 180 kW - Two-arm telescopic container lifter - Minimum lifting capacity of the container lifter of 9,000 kg. The bidder must possess a valid permit for the transportation of the following waste type according to the 72/2013. (VIII.27.) VM regulation, with a minimum quantity as specified: Identification code: 19 08 05 Waste description: Sludge from municipal wastewater treatment Annual quantity: 25,000 tons.
