General Planning Services for the Expansion of Maxim Gorky Comprehensive School in Kleinmachnow

The municipality of Kleinmachnow has decided to utilize the property at Adolf-Grimme-Ring 1 for the construction of an extension to the Maxim Gorky Comprehensive School (MGGS). This decision was made on February 20, 2025, as part of the local school planning process. The extension will focus on STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and will be named "MINTimum." It will be located adjacent to the CARAT youth center at the same address. The new building will provide modern learning and recreational spaces to accommodate the growing number of students, meeting high standards for functionality, accessibility, and energy efficiency. It will include specialized science classrooms, a cafeteria, administrative offices, and common areas for teachers and students. A safe and accessible pathway will be constructed within the school grounds to connect the main school building and sports facilities to the "MINTimum." A general planner will be appointed to oversee the entire planning and management responsibilities for this project, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality completion in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
