Workwear Accessories Supply Contract

This procurement opportunity is for the supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) used by VR-Yhtymä Oyj, a Finnish company. PPE includes items such as helmets, respirators, hearing protection, eye protection, and gloves, designed to protect individuals from health and safety risks. The contract aims for the supplier to deliver high-quality PPE in a timely and cost-effective manner to various VR Group companies across Finland. Deliveries will be based on orders or stocked at VR's locations as part of a comprehensive PPE service, which includes product representation, stocking services, smart cabinets, catalog sales, product guidance, and training. The planned stocking locations are detailed in Appendix 1. During the contract period, the customer may increase or decrease the number of smart cabinets and stocking services. The procurement is further described in the tender documents, particularly in Appendix 1 "Description of the Procurement Object". This tender will establish a framework agreement with one selected supplier. The goal is to sign the contract with the winning bidder immediately after the waiting and appeal period following the procurement decision. The contract is expected to start on April 1, 2026, and last for three years, with the option to extend for three additional one-year periods, making the maximum duration six years. This is a final tender, and the submitted bids are binding. The total maximum value of potential procurements under the framework agreement throughout the contract period (including any extension periods) is €900,000 (excluding VAT). The anticipated value described in the procurement notice corresponds to this maximum value, but the actual value may be lower. For clarity, this value is calculated based on a six-year period, including extension options.
