Central Data Storage Device Procurement

The procurement involves acquiring, delivering, installing, and commissioning a central data storage device. This is essential for ensuring the continuity of business processes at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, particularly for the smooth operation and security of digitally stored data. The new equipment will consist of a complex disk storage system that will enhance the capacity of the existing central disk storage system, allowing for uninterrupted data acceptance over the next five years. The installation service will include the following activities: 1. Installing the disk system in the server cabinet; 2. Redundant connection to two independent power supply lines (UPS), initial system startup; 3. Connecting to LAN and SAN infrastructure; 4. Configuring LAN settings; 5. Configuring SAN settings (aliases, zoning, zones); 6. Configuring the disk system as required; 7. Installing and upgrading drivers; 8. Functional system check – integration test; 9. Creating implementation documentation.
