This contract opportunity is for additional resources for mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair services for production units owned by Turun Seudun Energiantuotanto Oy (TSE) and their shared process systems. The work includes repairs and welding of internal and external piping and pressure equipment for boilers. The services will be carried out under the client's supervision and billed on an hourly basis. Turun Seudun Energiantuotanto Oy and Oy Turku Energia - Åbo Energi Ab have established a partnership regarding the operation and maintenance of power plants and district heating networks. This means that the ordering of materials and services related to the operation and maintenance of power plants, as well as project management, is the responsibility of Turku Energia on behalf of Turun Seudun Energiantuotanto Oy. The mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair work will take place at the following sites: - Naantali CHP4 power plant - Naantali electric boilers: NASK1 and NASK4 - Oriketo bioheat plant - Kakola heat pump plant. The supplier must have the expertise and experience, as well as the necessary tools, for the maintenance of the following process equipment: - Maintenance and repairs of process valves in the high-pressure steam system of the steam power plant - Maintenance and repairs of belt and screw conveyor systems - Maintenance and repairs of solid fuel and end product handling equipment (feeders, screens, crushers, screw conveyors) - Maintenance and repairs of centrifugal fans - Maintenance and repairs of centrifugal pumps from various manufacturers - Cleaning and maintenance of plate heat exchangers - Duct repairs and other steel structure work - Capability to machine necessary spare parts. For welding work, the supplier's welders must have experience in repair welding of power plant piping for both internal and external boiler piping. The supplier must be prepared to provide welders and pipe fitters with the following qualifications according to standard SFS-EN ISO 9606-1 and PED upon request: - Base material group 5.1 (qualification range 1-11) Welding process 111/141 - Base material group 6 (qualification range 1-11) Welding process 141 - Base material group 8.1 (qualification range 1-11) Welding process 141. The supplier must also be prepared for the prefabrication of bent pipe sections within one (1) day of order from the following pipe sizes using the client's material: - 33.7x5.0 mm - 42.2x8.8 mm - 60.3x8.8 mm. In the aforementioned work, the client acts as the responsible manufacturer under the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) unless otherwise agreed. The supplier must also be prepared to act independently as the responsible manufacturer if agreed. Estimated monthly service needs: Mechanical installation work - months 1-4 and 9-12, nearly continuously 0-2 installers, and additionally possible repair shutdowns during the operating season with approximately 5-15 installers, - months 5-8, annual maintenance periods with a maximum of 30 installers. Welding work: - months 1-4 and 9-12, occasionally upon request 1-2 qualified welders and pipe fitters, - months 5-8, annual maintenance periods with a maximum of 6 qualified welders and pipe fitters. The total estimated hours for the year is 7000 – 9000 hours. The annual purchasing volume is an estimate, and the client is not committed to purchases based on it. A significant portion of the aforementioned work will be carried out by the partner responsible for operation and maintenance, Turku Energia, and these works are not included in the procurement. The planned duration of the contract is from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2027, with two optional extensions decided separately by the client: January 1, 2028, to December 31, 2029, and January 1, 2030, to December 31, 2031.
