Weed Control Services for Infrabel

This contract is for a framework agreement to rent a weed control train operated by qualified personnel. The weed control train must meet the technical specifications outlined in Part 6 of the tender documents. Bidders must demonstrate compliance using the checklist for weed control train specifications included in Appendix 1 of the tender. The goal is to apply herbicides in a controlled manner to the main tracks (ballast zone + adjacent safety zones) of the Belgian railway network. Infrabel will determine the number of campaigns (1 or 2) and the routes to be treated each year, with spraying on the conventional railway network occurring during the day and on high-speed lines (HSL1 Brussels/Paris, HSL2 Leuven/Liège, HSL3 Liège/Cologne, HSL4 Antwerp/Netherlands) at night.
