Building Contractor Needed for Crewe Town Council Office Redevelopment

Crewe Town Council is seeking a qualified building contractor to refurbish and combine two adjoining office buildings (1 and 2 Chantry Court, Crewe) into a single operational headquarters. The contractor will manage all aspects of the project including labour, materials, plant, equipment, testing, commissioning and handover. Key works include: selective demolition and strip-out; creating new structural openings between buildings; removing existing stairs and undertaking floor infill works; installing fire-resisting and standard partitions; fitting new internal and fire doors; refurbishing ceilings, floors and decorations; installing a new kitchen; replacing heating systems with two new gas-fired condensing boilers and radiators; and completing electrical, lighting, fire alarm, emergency lighting, access control and data infrastructure works. All works must comply with Building Regulations, Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 and relevant statutory requirements.
