Overnight Security Services for YMCA Supported Housing in London

YMCA London City and North is seeking a security contractor to provide overnight security services across three supported housing properties in Hackney, Islington, and Haringey that accommodate young people aged 16 to 25. The successful contractor will deploy professional, trained security personnel to deliver customer-focused services from 8:00pm to 8:00am, seven days a week, with capacity to respond to ad hoc incidents. Key responsibilities include access control management, visitor check-in procedures, CCTV monitoring, key management, regular patrols, incident documentation, and resident safety support. The contractor must meet all safeguarding requirements, including enhanced DBS clearance for all personnel, compliance with health and safety legislation and GDPR, and adherence to YMCA policies. Staff must demonstrate high standards of conduct, professionalism, and excellent customer service while collaborating with YMCA teams to maintain a safe, secure environment for residents, visitors, and the community.
