Fare Evasion Survey Services for Irish Public Transport

This is an opportunity to provide fare evasion survey services across Ireland's public transport network. The successful contractor will conduct surveys on buses and trains operated by Dublin Bus, Go Ahead Ireland, Bus Éireann, and Irish Rail to measure fare evasion rates. The work covers nine distinct service areas including Greater Dublin bus services, regional and commuter routes, and rail services (DART, commuter rail, and intercity rail). The contractor must complete 15,200 individual passenger surveys per quarter to achieve a statistical margin of error of no more than 1 percent per four-week period. Results must be statistically robust and reliable, with detailed analysis at both network and disaggregated levels. The contract will be reviewed regularly, and the number of surveys may be adjusted. This is a data collection and analysis service requiring experienced survey methodology and operational coordination with multiple transport operators.
