ICT Managed Service Provider for Schools Trust

London Academy and Abbotsbury (LAAT) is seeking an ICT Managed Service Partner to provide comprehensive technology support and services for a five-year period from April 2027 onwards. This procurement encompasses the continuation of current managed ICT services (replacing an existing provider whose contract ends in March 2027) and the expansion of those services to support a major Trust-wide initiative to implement one-to-one mobile devices (approximately 2,500 Apple iPads over five years) for student learning. The Trust has successfully piloted the device scheme and now requires a capable, innovative partner to deliver both core managed services and device procurement/support at scale. Key responsibilities include 24/7 service desk support, onsite technical staffing, ICT infrastructure management, cybersecurity support, staff training and CPD on Apple and Microsoft platforms, strategic technology advice, and management of third-party providers. The successful supplier will also support critical periods such as OFSTED inspections and examination seasons. The Trust is open to the MSP providing Apple training but reserves the right to continue with an existing third-party training partner to ensure optimal outcomes.
