Germany – Forestry Services – Open Procedure (EU-wide) for the Award of Tree Inspection Services in the Federal Forestry Operation Havel-Oder-Spree, Section Canow, 1st Section (VOEK 554-25)

The scope of services includes negative inspections of the entire tree population in large areas, around solitary trees, and around disturbance points (e.g., walkways and boathouses). The identification of action trees is recorded in a separate Excel table (template see Annex C-03f_blank_Action_List_VOEK 554-25). The attachment or spraying of tree numbers and/or action abbreviations, as well as the coordinate recording for action trees, are also part of the services. The specified number of 150 pieces in the specifications is an estimate. Billing will be based on the actual quantities incurred. The inspection areas are partially accessible from land and partially only from the water. For water inspections, the use of a boat is absolutely necessary. The estimated access ratio is as follows: - Water access: 60% - Land access: 40% The contracting authority provides the tree plaques. To identify the action trees, the tree plaques are to be attached at a height of approximately 2.50 meters above ground level, on the water side. The necessary equipment for attaching these is to be provided by the contractor. Trees that already have a plaque will not receive an additional plaque. Furthermore, the tender for "Tree Inspection" includes the following activities: • Providing KML files of the action trees as well as GIS file formats dwg or dgn or dxf (the federal forestry operation can provide guidance if necessary) • Applying for permits, e.g., forest access permits from the responsible forestry office • Creating and sending information letters to property owners and users • Setting up and clearing the measure The Federal Forestry Operation Havel-Oder-Spree acts as the service provider and responsible contracting authority for the WSA Oder-Havel for monitoring and implementation.
