IT Services for Hazardous Substances Management Software Development

The project involves the development of a new software application for the Simple Measures Concept for Hazardous Substances (EMKG). This software will provide guidance on protective measures when working with hazardous substances, covering aspects such as skin, eyes, inhalation, fire & explosion, and storage. We are seeking an experienced IT company to create an accessible application that meets current technical, educational, and legal standards. The software should intuitively guide users with limited knowledge of hazardous substance regulations to appropriate protective measures and facilitate the documentation of risk assessments. It will include organizational features such as responsibility management and reminder functions to enhance the preventive nature of risk assessments. The contract includes programming the software, designing the layout, user navigation, logic, integrated testing routines, and creating an interface with the current EMKG app, as well as data migration from the existing EMKG software. The implementation will be closely monitored by the BAuA expert group. The project concludes with the delivery and acceptance of the functional software, source code, and a user manual with illustrations. After acceptance, the software will be maintained and supported for a minimum of 48 months, with an option for extension.
